Dr. Brett Dupont
An East Coast native, Dr. Brett Dupont is a highly trained and naturally skilled podiatrist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the foot, ankle, and related structures of the leg. He provides quality care for all of his patients’ podiatric needs, taking great pride in the treatment and improvement of the overall health of each individual.
Education & Training
After attending college in upstate New York, and graduating Cum Laude from SUNY College of Health Professions, he began his career in health care as a respiratory therapist. He spent four years working full-time at a Level One Trauma Center in the Emergency and Intensive Care Departments, treating patients with life-threatening diseases and injuries, while also completing the requirements for admission to medical school. It was during this time that Dr. Dupont decided to take the Mensa exam distinguishing high IQ individuals, and qualified to become a Mensa member.
Dr. Dupont completed his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at Temple University in 2013. He then went on to complete a 3-year residency which involved extensive training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Roxborough Memorial Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He received special recognition from the Residency Director for his intrinsic surgical abilities at his graduation in 2016. After completing residency, Dr. Dupont headed south to Maryland where he expanded his training and experience to be well rounded in all aspects of conservative and surgical podiatric management.
